ADNR Tundra-Travel Status Information
Overview
The ATN project is working in coordination with ADNR to help provide new tools and technology
solutions to help Tundra-Travel Management on Alaska State Lands on the North Slope. High costs of field
logistics and working in the Arctic place a high value on time saved in field logistics. Please review the below information
about ongoing technology development programs. ATN Project GINA Staff are providing key technology solutions for this effort.

Smart Phone Applications: It takes time to come in out of the field to check computers for current status conditions.
To help provide real-time conditions and status notifications of tundra-travel management areas, the ATN project has developed a new smart phone
application to allow industry and contractors access to information directly on their smart phones in those field areas with wireless digital
cell phone service. This interface currently works on computers using Chrome, or most smart phones.
